Project Overview
Working with Rose Gallagher is dreamy, she is a thoughtful visionary. She worked with LaLa Projects to bring the business of Bay View Weddings into being. It is always exciting to get involved in a project at the beginning. This allows us to help set them up for success with a good foundation of digital assets from logo to website and everything in between.
Project Details
We worked with Rose to create a logo and website, but we also helped set up other important digital assets. Once a business name was decided upon we help set up a GoDaddy account on behalf of the client and purchased the domain name. After the domain name was established we set up a G-Suites account and set up domain-based email accounts for Bay View Weddings.
Together we worked through the design process to develop a logo that excited the Bay View Weddings. It was important to convey a sense of dreamy romance. They wanted a clean white website with gold accents and a full-bleed image rich experience for the user. We were lucky that some weddings had previously taken place at the Bay View Weddings site, and we were able to work with the local photographers to populate the new website with onsite imagery. Another important aspect of the website was to create a sales funnel via a call-to-action form to get started.
We also created business pages on Google My Business, Facebook and Instagram and added an Instagram feed to their home page. We coached them on how to use handles and hashtags for cross-promotional social marketing. Lastly, we created a business card using gold foil to complete their branding efforts.
Project Update
We recently added two new features to the website, the Wedding Vendors and Wedding Portfolio plugins. This client asked us to do a bit of customization to their portfolio. The Wedding Vendors plugin makes it easy for her clients to browse local vendors while the Wedding Portfolio highlights the beauty of each couple’s wedding to show future couples a visual for imagining their own special day.
