Watervale Inn offers vintage cottages in an incredible natural setting that includes a mile of shoreline on both Lake Michigan and Lower Herring Lake, Watervale has provided generations with Northern Michigan vacation rentals, a gathering spot that is a constant in this ever-changing world.

Project Overview
The client wanted to create a vintage-looking website that captures the spirit of Watervale. They also wanted to update the website to modern standards to provide their guests with the best user experience possible. Our goal was to share information about Watervale and all the cottages options available. This was a great project for LaLa Projects, we love building highly customized charming websites.
Project Details
Watervale offers over 20 vacation rentals. We built WordPress Custom Post Types to help them easily manage all cottage details and availability. We worked closely with them to gather and create new photos of each cottage. With these image assets in hand, we were able to create a photo tour for each cottage.
We also set up a Mail Chimp account and corresponding form on the website to start collecting emails. It was exciting to see that website users started subscribing as soon as the website went live.
