Project Overview
We adopted Sharon and her existing author website. We did not design her website but we did help her optimize the website for speed and search engines. We also help her with ongoing website management.
I’ve worked with Debra Lanning now for nearly a year. I find her patient, professional and extremely detail-oriented, which is so important to me. The result is I worry less and can devote more of my time to what I get paid for. We’ve explored together new ways of getting my message out there, and performed extremely important “cleanup” duties created by a web designer who previously worked with me and created broken links and SEO issues I wasn’t aware of. Project Details
When we began working with Sharon she didn’t know much about her website or her business assets. We worked to audit her digital assets so we could both optimize her website and help her wrangle her accounts. We documented all of our findings, so she has a record that she can refer back to at any time.
Like many maturing businesses she had a number of domains registered at various locations. We wrangled all of her domains by transferring them all into one domain registration account.
Content Strategy
We also helped her do some minor website customization to highlight her audiobooks. We worked with her to dial in the affiliate links on her buy links, to help generate more income.
On Going Work
We also help her with ongoing management services. She releases new books on a regular basis and needs help updating the website with new content.
