Frontend Features
For a user visiting your site, they’ll have access to a fully integrated vendor list that’s intuitive and easy to use.

- Dropdown category filter

- Button to get more info about each vendor
- Unique vendor page that displays pre-populated, current content from the Locals Guide directory.
Backend Features
Behind the scenes, we’ve kept things clean, simple, and easy to use because you’ve got better things to spend your time on.
Features include:
- Easy email invite for any vendors you would like to add to the list of options. We provide a canned email message for you to send to your vendor friends so they can add themselves to Locals.guide and the corrisponding list of optional vendors within the plugin.
- Customizable hexadecimal color settings for category filter and pagination to match your brand’s visual theme
- Checkbox listing of all available vendors from the Locals.guide directory (Simply tick the box for your preferred vendors, save the settings, and voila! Their listing shows up on your website.)
The LaLa WordPress Wedding Vendors Plugin was built to be compatible with LaLa Theme 4, we also use it on websites using LaLa Theme 3. While we’d love for it to work with all WordPress themes, there are some dependencies. (see Dependencies tab)
The WordPress Wedding Vendors Plugin is dependent on the Advanced Custom Fields PRO plugin as well as Bootstrap 4. If your WordPress website has both of these wired up, then it’s likely that your website will support this plugin.
ACF PRO must be installed before the License key can be entered into the WordPress settings.

Once you’ve completed your purchase, here are the steps you’ll need to start sharing the love with your own preferred vendors list:
Install the Plugin
- Download .ZIP file onto your computer.
- Head on over to your WordPress (WP) dashboard.
- In the left-hand navigation of WP, click into the PLUGINS menu item.
- On the PLUGINS page, click the ‘ADD NEW’ button in the upper left, next to the plugin page title. (This brings you to the free plugin library, but since the WordPress Wedding Vendors Plugin is a premium plugin, you’ll need to manually upload it.)
- Click the ‘UPLOAD PLUGIN’ button in the upper left, next to the plugin page title.
- Click the button to ‘CHOOSE FILE’ and locate the .ZIP file you saved to your computer (Note: the file should remain zipped when you upload it)
Activate the Plugin
- In the left-hand navigation of WP, click into the LALA PRODUCTS menu item. (Located toward the bottom)
- Enter the master license key
- Click the Updates Button
- Then click the Activate Button
Your Lala Products license key can be found on the “Downloads & Licenses” page of your account on the LaLa Projects site or in the email you received after purchasing/renewing a license.
Page Setup
- In your WordPress PAGES menu item >> Create a new page >> You can name it anything you like, we typically just call it Vendors.
- In the page Settings, find the TEMPLATE settings (typically located in the right panel menu)
- Select the VENDOR LIST template.
- Click ‘PUBLISH’
Select your preferred vendors
- In the left-hand navigation of WP, click into the new VENDORS menu.
- Select the vendors you want to appear on your site
Click ‘SAVE’.
Optional Color Styling
- In your WordPress navigation panel, click into the new VENDORS menu.
- Go to Settings to define your brand colors.
- Enter the hexadecimal color of your choice
- Click ‘SAVE’.
Add to Navigation
Finish it all up by adding a new “Vendors” page to your website navigation, and you’re ready to roll!
