At LaLa Projects, we are constantly working on enhancing our products, services, and customer experience. In 2022, we spent a lot of time developing new LaLa blocks, updating blocks, creating new products, and adding new services for our clients. Below we will recap many of the LaLa Projects Theme 4 enhancements we were able to accomplish in 2022!
New Blocks and Block Enhancements
Social Block
The LaLa Social Block makes adding social media links to your website’s pages and posts simple. The icons match your branding by using your website’s link color.
Social Block Features
- Ability to justify-content based on your preferences.
- Any Font Awesome Icons that your license allows.
- Or choose from LaLa’s custom Icons
- The Knot– lli-the-knot-icon
- Trip Advisor– lli-trip-advisor-icon
- Good Read– lli-good-reads
- Book Bub– lli-book-bb
Please note our new custom icons can also be used in the social settings in the theme’s OPTIONS menu. These settings typically display icons in the Action Bar and Footer.
Social Block
Video Callout Block
The LaLa Video Callout Block effortlessly showcases embedded videos while scaling nicely on all device sizes. This way, your website users can view the entire video on their screen without having to scroll. In addition, this block also features a title, description, and optional button for added functionality.

Icon List Block
The Icon List block makes it easy to showcase a list of information on your website in an elevated way. Choose from various icons from Font Awesome to customize your Icon List to match the subject. This is a great way to highlight your services, product benefits, custom features, and more!
LaLa Teaser Block Updates
We updated the LaLa Teaser Block with new settings so the WordPress admin can more easily manage the look and feel of the teaser cards. We changed the aspect ratio setting to support photos of all shapes and sizes! This provides consistency and flexibility. In addition, the background card is now optional with an on/off setting, so you can customize the block to get a different look.
Sponsorship Block Update
The Sponsorship Block makes it easy to show off your organization’s sponsors’ logos with optional links to their websites. This year, we enhanced this block with additional settings like image size, an optional title, and row options. And like all the blocks we make, it is built to be responsive, so it looks good on every sized device.
